In the final seconds, pure elation erupted for Chelsea and interim manager Calum McFarlane as Enzo Fernández bundled in a last-gasp equaliser. The goal left Pep Guardiola howling at the heavens and provided the temporary Chelsea manager a unforgettable moment. On paper, Guardiola versus McFarlane was the Premier League's most pronounced managerial mismatch, making the memory of Fernández's pivotal intervention one to cherish the 40-year-old for years to come.

A Stark Contrast in Experience

On the City bench stood the generation's pre-eminent figure, a man with four decades of silverware for football's giants Barcelona, Bayern Munich, and Manchester City, taking charge of his 1,012th match.
