I will overwhelm 'credible combatant' Jake Paul - Anthony Joshua
The British boxer prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight-round match which will be streamed in real-time on Netflix.
Briton Anthony Joshua stated he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "overpower" the American as the combatants confronted each other to publicize the upcoming boxing match.
Ex two time unified boxing king Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a huge mismatch - at Miami's venue on 19 December.
Fighter's Mentality
"I will injure his face and hurt his body. I aim to demonstrate I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35 years old, stated.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I will really want to hurt him. That's my goal."
Respectful Exchange
In spite of such comments, a composed Anthony Joshua and social media star Paul - usually known for his showmanship - exchanged pleasantries and kept it respectful with each other.
Paul instead attacked ex Joshua's opponent the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "a joke" after the Cameroonian declined a bout proposal.
Taking Aim at Fury
Joshua, in the meantime, targeted UK opponent Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a Paul victory.
"Jake Paul is superior to Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua commented.
"I respect him for that."
Serious Fighter
In spite of stating he plans to hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua chose not to comment unfavorably about his rival's boxing ability.
"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he said.

Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has primarily boxed MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since turning professional.
He lost to British fighter Tommy Fury in 2023.
Commercial Attraction
However, the novice is still one of boxing's biggest commercial attractions, consistently making substantial paydays.
Prediction and Belief
The 28-year-old predicted a KO victory in rounds four or five and asserted he would stop the much-anticipated Fury-Joshua bout, which is apparently in the works for two years from now.
"The next fight will be my match with Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul stated.
Size Difference
As both boxers engaged in the usual confrontation, with their physical disparity on show, it highlighted just how surprising this whole event is - and how amazing it is that the fight is truly proceeding.
